Terms of Use

These terms set the ground rules for using this website. By visiting any page, running a search, or reading our content, you agree to everything below. If these terms do not work for you, please close the site and do not continue using it.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This website is privately owned and operated. It has no affiliation with any local, state, or federal government body. Neither this site nor any of our advertising partners provide services meant for credit decisions, employment screening, insurance underwriting, tenant screening, or any other purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). We help visitors locate public records resources in Oklahoma. We are not a private investigation firm, and we are not a consumer reporting agency.

1. What This Site Is

This is a privately run reference website. We operate on our own, separate from every government agency at every level. We do not store official records, and we are not in a position to file or pull documents for anyone.

What we do is point you toward public records resources throughout Oklahoma and connect you with outside search tools that might help your research.

2. How You Can Use This Site

You agree to use this site only for purposes that are lawful. That means you will not:

  • Break any law, regulation, or ordinance while using this site
  • Use information you find here to stalk, threaten, or harm anyone
  • Base employment, housing, credit, or insurance decisions on anything from this site
  • Try to break into our systems or mess with our servers
  • Run bots, scrapers, or automated tools against our pages
  • Do anything that slows down or disrupts the site for other people

3. Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA. We do not generate criminal history searches, credit reports, or any form of consumer report. Neither we nor our advertising partners offer services for screening job applicants, evaluating renters, setting insurance rates, or judging creditworthiness. You agree not to use data from this site or any linked tool to:

  • Make decisions about hiring or firing
  • Screen rental or housing applications
  • Judge someone's creditworthiness or set insurance premiums
  • Decide eligibility for professional licenses or government programs
  • Do anything else that would fall under FCRA requirements

4. Links to Other Websites

Our pages link to government portals, court systems, legal aid groups, and search providers. Clicking one of those links takes you away from our site and onto theirs. We have no say over their content, how they handle your data, or whether their pages stay up. Look over their terms before you use them.

5. No Warranties

Everything on this site is provided "as is." We make no guarantees that:

  • The information here is correct, complete, or current at any point in time
  • The site will stay online without interruption
  • Our pages are free of errors, bugs, or security holes
  • Results from our partner search tools will be thorough or accurate

Public records change all the time. We work to stay on top of it, but gaps will happen. Do not take everything you see here as the latest word from a court or state agency.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not on the hook for any damages that come from using this site. That includes:

  • Wrong, incomplete, or outdated content
  • Any personal injury or property damage, direct or indirect
  • Unauthorized access to or changes to your data
  • Downtime, slow pages, or other performance problems
  • Harmful software or code you might run into through our site

7. Indemnification

If a claim gets filed against us because of how you used this site or because you broke these terms, you agree to cover our costs, including attorney fees, and defend us against that claim.

8. Intellectual Property

All text, graphics, logos, and code on this site belong to Oklahoma Official Records or our content partners. You may not copy, share, change, or build on our content without getting written permission first.

9. Changes to These Terms

We can update these terms whenever we see fit. New terms go into effect the moment they are posted. If you keep using the site after a change, that means you accept the new version. Check this page from time to time so you know what the current terms say.

10. Cutting Off Access

We can limit or end your access to this site at any time, for any reason, and without giving you a heads-up. If you violate these terms, we may shut off your access right away.

11. Governing Law

These terms fall under the laws of the State of Oklahoma. Any legal disputes that come out of your use of this site will be handled in courts located in Oklahoma.

12. Severability

If a court finds that any part of these terms is invalid or cannot be enforced, the rest of the terms still stand. The problem section gets changed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.

13. Questions

If something in these terms does not make sense, visit our Contact page and send us a message. We are happy to clarify.
